If you or a family member is sensitive to formaldehyde or
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s), we have designed an environmentally friendly line of cabinetry. Our cabinetry meets
the requirements for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) credits and LEED certification. We use
plywood made with a soy based adhesive that is free of formaldehyde. We spray low and no VOC paints and finishes.
We use poplar and other fast growing farmed forest products. We use water based glues and adhesives. We always stress the importance of energy efficient appliances. We are meticulous insulators. We recycle 60 % of our waste stream. We drive a six cylinder van about 12,000
mile a year.

We run a small shop very efficiently for maximum output per square foot.
Our shop backs up to a residential
neighborhood. From day one we have learned to live peacefully with our neighbors. Noise, dust, odor, light and chemicals
have always been kept to a bare minimum. We don’t turn on machinery before 8 AM. We turn off our sign at 9:30 PM. We
even grow organic tomatoes and some killer jalapeno peppers right at the shop.
How and where a cabinet is made
is as important as what it is made of.
We don’t just design green, we don’t just
build green, we live green.
Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.
